2010年8月6日和14日，他两次前往买方公司结款65万元和97万元，8月14日当日，他携172万元巨款潜逃。

警方发现，一年多的时间里，杜先生和该煤炭公司合作提供的所有存档合同、买卖收据以及公司印章都是假的。

9月10日，警方在慈溪一家棋牌室找到了杜先生。

杜某交代，在潜逃的20多天时间里，杜花掉了172万元中44万元，剩下128万元被他存放在2个银行卡中。
