比推消息，据Blockworks报道，位于阿联酋的多策略加密货币投资公司 Cypher Capital 已向 Telegram 的Layer 1 权益证明区块链项目 The Open Network (TON) 注资 1000 万美元，用于支持其建设区块链的基础设施。 Cypher Capital 董事长兼 TON 基金会董事会成员 Bill Qian 表示，新资金将推动 TON 在中东、非洲、亚洲、土耳其和印度市场应用。
目前尚不清楚有多少 Telegram 用户尝试过 TON 区块链上的服务，根据 tontech.io 提供的数据显示，TON 网络上的账户数量稳步增长，12 月已超过 160 万，但活跃用户数量不详。 TON 基金会曾在 4 月份表示，它已经筹集了大约 10 亿美元用于资助开发工作。
