北京时间9月17日《NBC》消息,每当NBA球员退役的时候，他们似乎与老板之前就不存在任何的劳资关系，不过也有某些幸运儿会受到眷顾，比如说身高只有160CM的“矮子强盗”马格西-博格斯，今日后者就对媒体透露，在自己退役的时候，库班却将合同中剩余三个赛季的工资全额支付，共计360万美元。7 B1 L! Z9 _5 A: {! c: ]8 L- W

在2001年，当时已经36岁的博格斯被尼克斯交易到小牛队，不过却并没有征战多少时间就决定退役，而当时他还有三年的合同在身，不过财大气粗的小牛队老板并没有吝啬，而是全额支付了他的合同工资，用博格斯的话来描述就是“连眼睛都没有眨一下”。虽然已经过去整整十年的时间，但每当回忆起这件事情，博格斯总是充满感激之情。* P. P! t$ j* Q/ X' \9 B7 r( _, h

“虽然我从未当面见过库班先生，但是我必须要说我非常感激他。”已经46岁的博格斯说到，“在我母亲去世的时候，我还有三年的合同，最终我决定退役，也就是意味着要放弃这三年的薪水，但是库班却继续履行合同，支付了三年的全部薪水，这让我非常感动，我在私下并没有表示过感激，但是我确实应该感谢他。”
