第二天，甄选过程又查验每一位可能陪审员，与媒体新闻界是否有关，以免在审理程序时桉情曝光。

候补人选中另有四位西裔，检察官耶尔表示，陪审团员中途走马换将情形非常普遍，目前全白人的陪审员不一定是最后陪审完的同一批人。
