受监管的区块链基础设施与代币化平台领军企业 Paxos 今日宣布，已提交申请，将其由纽约州金融服务署（NYDFS）颁发的信托牌照转换为由美国货币监理署（OCC）监管的全国信托牌照。此举将使 Paxos 纳入联邦监管，成为继 Circle 与 Ripple 之后，又一家寻求纳入联邦直接监管的企业。 OCC 的监管将進一步保障稳定币持有人Paxos 联合创始人兼首席执行官 Charles Cascarilla 表示：“十多年来，Paxos 一直在监管与合规方面树立标杆。通过申请全国信托银行执照，我们将继续为企业合作伙伴和消费者提供最安全、最值得信赖的基础设施。这源于我们相信区块链具备推动金融自由的变革力量。OCC 的监管将进一步巩固我们在安全与透明方面的历史性承诺。” 资产隔离做足 确保 1:1 兑换承诺Paxos 目前负责发行 PayPal 的稳定币 PYUSD，也是 Global Dollar（USDG）代币联盟的创始成员之一。隨著美国总统川普（Donald Trump）上月签署《GENIUS 法案》，为稳定币及其发行方提供法律框架，并消除部分监管不确定性。所有由 Paxos 发行的资产仍将由与破产风险隔离的储备全额支持，这些储备以美元、美国国债和现金等价物持有，确保 1:1 兑换承诺。 事实上，Paxos 早在 2021 年就曾获得 OCC 的有条件批准，但未能在期限内完成手续，导致申请于 2023 年失效。本次重新提交申请，被外界视为该公司意在美元稳定币联邦合规竞赛中抢占更有利位置的信号。 |
