就在上个月，莱特币完成了MWEB(MimbleWimbleExtensionBlocks)升级，同时还启动隐私协议以提升匿名性，却也因此招来一些麻烦。众所周知，隐私币是难以追踪的，莱特币现在存在洗钱疑虑，这也导致韩国5大加密货币交易所——Upbit、Bithumb、Coinone、Korbit及Gopax下架莱特币。

Upbit和Bithumb指出，由于莱特币的隐私协议与韩国反洗钱(AML)法规相冲突，已决定不再支援莱特币交易。Upbit指出，莱特币有个交易选项“使用户能够不暴露交易资讯”，而这引发了对匿名传输技术可能会被添加到莱特币功能中的担忧。公告提到，为保护投资者，该交易所将于6月20日关闭莱特币交易市场，用户在7月20日之前仍可进行提领。 $ d7 I7 Z9 Y; I
Bithumb则在公告中强调，该交易所背负着“保护用户并构建透明的数位资产市场”的责任，宣布将于6月8日暂停莱特币存款，随后在7月的第一周停止支援莱特币的交易，并于7月25日终止提领。
) ~, J6 u6 T& c6 w此前，Upbit以及Bithumb已经向投资人发出警告，因为莱特币升级后将可以透过另一个链隐藏交易纪录，借此提升隐匿性，但这也不符合中心化交易所得法遵规则，他们要能对客户执行KYC且追踪每一笔交易纪录以呈报给监管机关。 & Y+ z- i2 G& _+ b0 Y
近年来，加密货币产业对于以隐私为主的加密货币项目可以说是越来越不友好，其监管压力也在不断增强，现在全球已有多家交易所选择将门罗币、Dash、Zcash等匿名币进行下架处理。加密货币研究机构MICAResearch的分析师也做出了解释：目前加密市场流动性还是以中心化交易所为主的，因为匿名币会让交易所的成本大大增加，所以现在加密货币交易所都不愿意上架隐私币，毕竟验证用户交易本身也是个大麻烦。
