比推消息，负责调查腐败和管理不善的参议院民主党领袖正在审查美国总统唐纳德·特朗普最近的加密货币活动，以及这些活动是否属于“付费游戏计划”，以向出价最高的人提供进入总统圈层的机会。
参议院常设调查小组委员会（隶属于国土安全和政府事务委员会）的资深民主党人Richard Blumenthal于周二致信Fight Fight Fight LLC 的Bill Zanker和World Liberty Financial的联合创始人Zach Witkoff，询问了他们一系列有关特朗普关联实体的所有权和投资结构的问题，包括 Fight Fight Fight LLC（特朗普模因币背后的公司）、CIC Digital LLC（发行特朗普的 NFT 并共同拥有 Fight Fight Fight）、Celebration Cards LLC（另一家与特朗普 NFT 有关联的实体）和 DTTM Operations LLC（管理特朗普的知识产权），以及World Liberty Financial及其附属实体。
两封信中均表示：“常设调查小组委员会正在对特朗普总统的加密货币企业的潜在利益冲突和违法行为进行初步调查……以及相关企业与外国人、外国政府和其他加密货币公司的金融交易。”信件还要求高管提供与特朗普关联的加密业务相关的记录。
据悉，由于民主党目前在参议院占少数，除非共和党参议员罗恩·约翰逊也签署传票，否则Richard Blumenthal没有传票权。
