网传澳大利亚一个俱乐部有19名成员，年龄在47-50岁之间，他们中有人精通数学，利用数学知识出入各大DC，逢赌必赢。三年时间赚取24亿澳元。后来，这个故事几经考证，原来狂赚24亿澳元说法并不正确。根据澳洲税务局的通报，这24亿澳元是该Dubo集团在2006年下注的总额，但这笔巨额本金的来源还是一个谜。据介绍，赌徒俱乐部在2004年至2006年期间大量下注，其年利润率约2.5%，虽说相对零收益率的Dubo业来说，已经是难得的好成绩，但实际上比存银行多不了多少：2004年下注约5.5亿澳元，获利4750万;2006年下注24.53亿澳元，获利5000万澳元。! c7 l, I/ ]3 A

不过根据笔者经验，年利润2.5%的说法显然站不住脚。2004年下注约5.5亿，获利4750元，5.5亿注额显然是投注流水，而非本金。至于本金多少，文中没有提及。但是仅从4750万利润来看，此俱乐部显然获利丰厚。3 n' B c2 Z `5 u' T+ N6 [- U

其实对大多数人来说，博彩并不是一道数学题，绝大多数博彩的人并不是输在DC51.39%赢的概率上，而是输在控制力上。赢的时候投注小，输的时候投注大是博彩者的通病，有人因此怀疑DC作弊。但是仔细体味，人的心里大抵如此，赢的时候想保留利润，减少了投注;输的时候想捞回本金，加大投注。# @/ c; y) W$ `9 a4 r
